- 1 1/2 cups milk, 2%
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
- Marshmallows, for garnish (optional)
- 2 candy canes, for garnish (optional)
Add the milk and cream to a small pot and heat the contents slowly over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
Add the chocolate chips and peppermint extract and whisk to combine.
Serve warm topped with marshmallows and with a candy cane garnish.
