Vegetable & Flower Seeds from West Coast Seeds

Seeds are the best gift that you can give to anyone who likes to garden (or who wants to get into gardening!). Not only are they fun to watch grow throughout the season, but they are so rewarding when you get to harvest and eat them! It is truly the gift that keeps on giving for many seasons!

I have been gardening with West Coast Seeds for many years now, and I am constantly impressed with the high quality and high success rate of these seeds. I also love that West Coast Seeds carries many organic seeds, which is great for those that are into organic gardening.

I have included a selection of my favourite seeds from West Coast Seeds in my Holiday Gift Guide this year including: Sweet Million Cherry Tomato, Sungold Cherry Tomato, Genovese Basil, Tiana Butternut Squash, Super Sugar Snap Peas, Snow Puff Cosmos, and Blue Boy Cornflower.

West Coast Seeds has many other great seeds and gardening products that will make great gifts. If you would like to purchase from West Coast Seeds, use my affiliate link and I will receive a small commission from your sale at no extra cost to you!

Blue Grouse Estate Winery 2018 Paula Sparkling Wine

Blue Grouse Estate Winery is my favourite winery from Vancouver Island, and I am thrilled that they are a part of my Holiday Gift Guide and Giveaway this year! Located in the Cowichan Valley, Blue Grouse Estate Winery produces delicious sparkling, rose, white, red, and fortified wines— and every single one is incredible!

One of my favourite wines from Blue Grouse Estate Winery is the 2018 Paula Sparkling. This sparkling wine is super festive and not only is it great for holiday celebrations, it’s incredible year-round! It is made using the traditional method using a combination of 48% Muller-Thurgau, 45% Ortega, and 7% Pinot Gris grapes— all grown locally in the Cowichan Valley! Tasting notes include pink lady apple, candied pecan, apple crumble, and a streak of seashore brininess.

I like to enjoy the 2018 Paula Sparkling on it’s own, or mixed into a cocktail, and is a great gift for the wine connoisseur on your list! Be sure to check out other wines on Blue Grouse Estate Winery’s website and place an order for delivery if you live in British Columbia!

Sea Salt Chocolate Salted Caramel Sauce

Sea Salt Chocolate is a new local shop that I discovered this year that I became instantly obsessed with!

Located in the Cowichan Valley, Rae Murphy makes handcrafted small-batch chocolates and confections. Rae is a true artist and makes stunningly beautiful treats that she changes throughout the seasons. Her Instagram feed is a sweet-lovers dream and I always get hungry whenever I see a new post!

I included the Salted Caramel Sauce from Sea Salt Chocolate in this year’s Holiday Gift Guide as I think it is a great gift for anyone with a sweet tooth. This Salted Caramel Sauce has the perfect balance of sweet and salty flavour and is perfect to enjoy with sliced apples, on top of ice cream, and even in a latte! Sounds amazing, right?!

Check out Sea Salt Chocolate on Instagram to browse some other sweet treats and to DM your order!

Picot Collective Honey Tobacco Wood-Wick Candle

Would my Holiday Gift Guide be complete without Picot Collective? Picot Collective has been featured in my Holiday Gift Guide for the past THREE years for a good reason…all of their products are incredible!

The Honey Tobacco scent from Picot Collective smells like a mixture of vanilla and a musky mens cologne. I think it is the perfect balance of masculine and feminine scents that anyone will enjoy. I am constantly burning these candles and has become the signature scent in my home.

The Honey Tobacco candles are made from coconut and soy wax and are made with non-toxic fragrance. While I enjoy the natural cotton wicks in the candles, I also really enjoy the crackling and slightly woody scent of their new wood-wick candles. I think this is a great gift to give for the holidays and in the cooler months since the slight wood crackle reminds me of a crackling fire. How cozy is that?!

You can find the Honey Tobacco Wood-Wick candle (and other body care, fragrance, and candles) online and at local retailers around town.

Cozy Koji Yuzu Chili Miso Soup Concentrate

If you have a foodie on your holiday shopping list, Cozy Koji’s Yuzu Chili Miso Soup Concentrate is the perfect gift!

Made locally in Victoria by the dynamic-duo, Satomi and Shino, Cozy Koji makes delicious soup starters, marinades, and sauces. Not only are their products pack full of flavour, they are also incredibly nutritious (from lots of fermentation) and can really boost the flavours in a recipe in no time! All of their products are made with as many high-quality local ingredients as possible, which makes their products so incredible!

Cozy Koji’s Yuzu Chili Miso Soup Concentrate is a flavour-packed soup base that will make the perfect holiday gift. It is mild in spice and has a subtle tangy flavour (from the yuzu) that adds lots of brightness and freshness to the dish you are using it in. I like to use this Yuzu Chili Miso Soup Concentrate as a soup base for ramen and I am always impressed with how I can have a bowl of ramen that is packed with flavour in no time and without lots of effort on my part!

You can purchase Cozy Koji’s Yuzu Chili Miso Soup Concentrate (and lots of other products) online and at local retailers around town.

Working Culture Bread Tote Bag

Working Culture Bread is a local bakery in Victoria that I discovered this year as we were going through our kitchen renovation and were looking for some good local bread to make simple no-cook meals. Now that our kitchen is complete, I still find myself there every weekend stocking up on locally made sourdough bread, cookies, danishes, basque cheesecake, pretzels, and so much more…despite my slightly tighter pants!

Jess and Adam opened Working Culture Bread only two years ago, but they have been incredibly successful with their amazing organic sourdough breads and tasty treats that are baked fresh and in-store. I love all of their breads (but have a particular fondness for their Harvest Moon loaf that is pack full of seeds) and their pastries that are made with local ingredients that constantly change throughout the seasons.

While their baked goods are amazing, they also have incredible swag that is designed locally. I have included their iconic Working Culture Bread tote bag in my Holiday Gift Guide and Giveaway so that you can pick up your bread and treats in style! Trust me…you need a tote bag when you visit!

There is always something new and tasty to discover at Working Culture Bread! Check out their storefront at 2506 Government Street from Thursday to Sunday every week!

Olive & Oak Art Prints

Nothing stays that you have great taste if you have gorgeous art styled in your home. I recently discovered Olive & Oak Prints on Etsy when I was looking for art for our kitchen. Let’s just say I completely fell in love and now I have their art prints all over my home!

Leslie curates beautiful seasonal art prints, as well as botanical prints, city scapes, and more. I particularly like the calming landscape art prints and have begun collecting them to swap out in my frames for each season. You can download the files digitally and print them yourself, or you can get them printed and delivered to you (which is what I opt for). There are various art papers to choose from for printing as well, so you can mix and match depending on your style!

Check out Olive & Oak Art Prints on Etsy and give the gift of art for the season!
