Chili Oil Noodles have become a popular recipe lately, and I wanted to show you how I make my version! These Chili Oil Noodles are nice and spicy and come together in under 10 minutes!
4 scallionswhite and light green ends finely chopped, dark green ends cut into 1 inch pieces
1tablespoondried chili flakes
1/2teaspoonground white pepper
1 tablespoonchili flakes (from chili oil)
1tablespoon soy sauceoptional
1tablespoonchili oiloptional
Instructions
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add the noodles. Stir so that the noodles do not stick together. Reduce the heat to medium and let cook for 4 minutes.
While the noodles are boiling, make the sauce. Add the vegetable oil to a pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chopped garlic and white/light green ends of the scallions and fry for 20 seconds. Add the dried chili flakes and white pepper and fry for another 20 seconds. Finally, add the chili flakes from the chili oil, then reduce the heat to low.
Once the noodles are cooked, add them directly to the pan along with the green ends of the scallions. Toss everything together and season with soy sauce if needed. Add the noodles to a plate and drizzle with extra chili oil. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes
You may need to add soy sauce to this recipe depending on if there is salt in your chili oil/chili oil flakes.
