Smoothies are hardly recipes at all, but getting the proportions right really helps in making the smoothie taste good. This Green Smoothie gets it’s green colour from a cup of fresh spinach. This smoothie looks good and is good for you!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup almond milk
- 3 tablespoons Greek yogurt
- 1 cup frozen spinach
- 1 frozen banana (approximately 1 cup)
- 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 scoop protein powder (optional, but I use Vanilla Vega)
Directions:
Add all the ingredients in the order specified above to a blender. Blend for 1 minute to 1 minute and 30 seconds or until everything is smooth. Pour into a glass and drink straight away.

Tip: Freeze the cleaned spinach leaves and banana overnight so that they are completely frozen. This will make your smoothie nice and cold without having to add any ice!
